I have found the best way to convert powerpoint to flash, it's a long process, but I have been able to convert 50mb down to less than 4mb using a special conversion. I used to charge nearly $50 a conversion, it created great business, but was not pratical for most people.
Due to my experience with both programs, I have been able to encode faster, and therefore, I started charging my customers $20 a conversion, and everyone is happy. Of course, if I have to convert more than 10 pages the price goes up, but an extra $1 a page shouldn't be extreme.
Some of my clients had me do 100 pages or more Powerpoint to Flash conversions, which can take hours to get just right, especially the timing for the audio, so I decided that I had better improve my skills.
I now have the ability to convert Powerpoint Presentations into self running Flash Presentations, full screen and all, in a fairly short time. Usual turnaround time is 12 hours depending on how much business I have. I work from home, which is a great advantage, especially due to the $3 a gallon gas prices. (Aug 8 2006 - Arizona)

Remember, flash is much more secure than powerpoint, it's very difficult to copy a flash movie off of the internet, some have figured it out, but many have no idea on how to do it yet.
